A Sports Narrative As a child, I was always very observant, even while I participated in the same activities I was observing. I used to play ice hockey in the winter and soccer in the summer. No matter what you did in these sports, you were always yelled at – either by the hockey dads or the soccer moms. The Italian dads yelled at the soccer games though too.
